Stephanie La’Rose Carter doesn’t believe in a God and is now facing a mid thirties life crisis. She has to start her life over as a single woman with no children and she may be without a job by the end of the year. Her two best friends Kandi and Jamie assist with helping her find a husband by the end of the year and her mother Shirleen tries to lead her back to Christ along with a God fearing man. However, Stephanie feels that she does not need the church or a Godly man. Instead, she uses lessons and recipes that her deceased grandmother taught her to help her get through it all. Little does she know how much an impact her grandmother’s presence will have on her future.
Stephanie may actually have a shot at real love, fate, or both. If she regains her Faith, she may be able to get over her past and find unconditional love within herself, her family and with a potential mate. Will she be subject to eternal damnation or will she go through a spiritual rebirth and give her life back to Christ to receive the blessings that she deserves? Find out what ultimately happens to Stephanie in this debut novel Rebirth Of Dead Roses by T.B. Ellis
Meet T. B. Ellis
Her love for writing started when she was ten years old and it became a lifetime goal to become a published author.
Her first professional work consisted of two articles that appeared in the legal newspaper called the St. Louis Daily Record when she was only an intern with the St. Louis Internship Program during her Junior year of High School. Ellis went on to study at the University of Missouri-St. Louis where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English. Her favorite course in college was Creative Writing because it allowed her to be creative and to create characters to live in the world inside her head.
In between work and writing she enjoys spending time with family, going to the movies, comedy shows, traveling, painting, and eating at different restaurants.
Through writing, she has discovered her purpose to encourage, empower, and enlighten women and some men too if they are willing to listen. She’s very passionate about women loving and respecting themselves in a world that does not always view us as the Queens that we are. She wants to make sure that all women know they are worthy and nobody can stop their shine. Currently, her mission in writing is to promote self-love and self-fulfillment in women of all ages.
